That is a very important part of the truck. The lability issues if it were to fail are about as extreme as they come. Personally, as a truck owner, I wouldn't want to take that risk.
As a machinist I wouldn't want the liability unless I had qualified engineers and good insurance. If I had those the price I would charge you would make you run quick.
