lowering blocks

how are they? summit has them for a 4" drop for like 30 bucks?

i agree ,at one time I tested with a 4'' block and it was to much for the geometry..that was with a 4'' coil and a 4'' block....too much....so i went with a 6'' spring and a 2.5" block and that worked (for the oldstyle trailing arm set up)

96 3500 ext cab... was thinking about a 2/4 drop... cut coil out the front and figure out something for the rear. any ideas would be great. trying to stay Away from spending tons of money..

hanger/shackle for the rear...spring/or spindle front...

djm has a kit with a coil up front and a hanger/shackle for about 260.plus shipping.. am i gonna HAVE to run shocks? they also offer shocks for a 120 bucks and give free shipping.

maybe for the rear, i would say with a 2'' in the front...no ..then again find the collapse spec. and go to your local parts store and buy them there....but all the way around you could get away running your stock shock set-up....IMO

Lowering blocks would not work in your application as the rear sits below the spring pack. The rear end would have to be flipped above the spring pack 1st to use blocks for further drop.

I lowered mine with 3in blocks and i am having a problem with the pinon angle and putting the u-joins in a bind,which is causing a real bad bouncing feel below 30 mph.i found some lowering blocks at speedway motors that are made for 60-72 trucks.i am putting 2 in blocke which should correct the pinon angle and i hope it correct the bounce also.
