GMC OEM Clock

My brother and I started the wiring process on Saturday. HE gave me enough pointers to be able to do the dash myself with him as a life line via cell. One of the things we took a look at was seeing IF the 12 v clock would work. We are using a trickle charger to get the 12v power, but we were wondering IF we had it hooked right neg ground to the metal body and the pos. clamp in the center post?

Along those lines does anyone have a link to a company that restores automotive clocks? I have not serched Hemming as of yet, I'll probaly get a faster answer right here.

BTW I got the CONFIDENTIAL Dealer Price schedule (effective April 1st. 1960)guide. It has both the car and TRUCK options for the 1960 model year.

It also has several pages of Service accessories from Anti-freeze to undercoating. This is a real piece of history, not a tear or blemish on it. You got to wonder how much of this stuff is just laying arould waiting for use to COLLECT
