Why do the splines in the hub in the last pic look like they are worn and wallored out?

I saw that too in the photo and had to go look for myself, and it's just junk left from my greasy hands. There is no damage or excessive wear to the input shaft on the trans, and the clutch disc fits like it should on the input shaft so there is no play.
