hei

I want to know if I need to do some cuttin on the firewall in order to clear the hei?? I am runnin a dropmember from nate.. Any info will be greatful. Thanks in advance..

if you look you can see the red cap. This is a sbc in the rear engine mount holes. The HEI is a Mallory dist.
The 2nd picture is with an 89 year 454 in place with tubular engine mounts.

With my 63' dropmembered with sbc350 there is plenty of room for the HEI, and I installed it after motor was in.
