68 GM, rust rhymes with lust!
Hello everyone. I am NOOB as my son would tell me. I still don't know the meaning other than I think its "new to this". I bought a 1968 GM 910 TOTT, 250, with a rotton wood box and a TON of rust. Bought myself a welder last year and after a few years of my wife claiming I would never do anything with it I had to prove her wrong. It is a work in progress, but at least progress is being made. Heres a few snaps of it now. I didn't take too may from when I bought it. Loves these old trucks! I took a date out in my dads 1968 GM C30 dump truck even, lol. Hence, why I had to have another.......ahhhhhhh memories........of a redneck Canadian boy, lol. Nice to see so many projects on the go, looking forward to getting serious in making the 68 nicer over the summer. I'll keep posting progress pics. Take Care!
As I bought it: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] As it is as of today (April 2012) [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] My cheap a$$ wood work, haha [IMG][/IMG] Dirty but runs better than my wifes 07 Caliber! [IMG][/IMG] |
