does ccp heavy notch allow towing?
i have a 71 sub 1/2 ton
looking to c-notch dont really want to cut the floor...but will the heavy notch allow for towing? probably wont tow but if i sell it next guy might! and is it really stronger or worth the extra coin $70? |

If the ccp one will work better go for it.As far as towing goes if its done smart i doubt the notch would cause a problem.

Either one you will lose a substantial amount of frame strength. THere is a thread by lakesideraodster I believe that compares notches and their strength that he has load tested on the computer.

so it probably isnt worth the extra $70?
because the strength difference isnt substantial enough to tow anyways... might need a custom porterbuilt notch... |
