Question on Bed Strips
What size are the carriage bolts on the bed strips on 55-59 step side are they 1/4 20 threads x 1 1/2 long? Also does anyone have one removed, I just need a measurement from bed metal strip distance from tip of strip (front panel) to the first carriage bolt hole? Thanking all in advance!

Re: Question on Bed Strips
Correct on bolt size. Front of strip has two holes close together. Distance from end to first= 1/2" to second= 2 1/2".

buy boxes of 100 bolts, nuts, washers and locks for a half of what the correct number kits from vendors i also bought ss fasteners for my steps, fenders, cross sills, etc... cheaper than plated bolts from home depot or the parts stores

Re: Question on Bed Strips
X2 on the bolts. Fastenall also sells stainless stuff in bulk. a couple of buffs on a 6" grinder with some tripoli and stainless polish and you get it shiney...but in my case, the beer consumption went up.
