Rear end question

I am looking at a 3.73 posi out of a 67 K10 blazer. Will this be a direct fit for my 65 C10, or is it too wide?

I am doing a Porterbuilt rear dropmember, so I need to be sure that it will fit underneith.

Re: Rear end question

No such thing as a 67 Blazer- 69 was the first year of production. The axle may be the same width, but is likely 1.5" wider overall than your 65...

Re: Rear end question

Sorry misread that he got it from a 67 K10 and was going to put it into a 69 blazer that he no longer has.

Further research gives me the impression that from 63 to early 70 all of the 12 bolts were the same width. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Re: Rear end question

You would have to cut the spring perches and shock mounts off then weld on the trail arm mounts and panhard bar mount i think is it.
