Console parts

I was sorting through some console parts and had the two hinges that are in the picture. I believe that the smaller hinge was used on the earlier consoles (1969,1970??) and found to be inadequate so they switched to the bigger hinge. Also the style that has the small hinge does NOT have the three extra holes drilled in the middle console section. Does anyone know when they switched from the small one to the big one? If you have a factory installed console in your truck or blazer, it is easy to open the lid and see what kind of hinge you have. Tell us the year of your truck and the stlye hinge. Thanks
