Will 3/4-ton lower control arm shaft work for 1/2 ton?
I have new lower control arm shafts that fit a 3/4-ton and am wondering if they would work with my 1/2-ton. They are the exact same length overall but there are more threads on each side (and thus less shaft in the middle). Is this okay or do I need a 1/2-ton shaft. My control arms are 1/2-ton as is the truck itself

What year truck are you working on?
This info is available online,... but the correct year would be helpful.

the shafts do not interchange, you need 1/2 ton shafts
