Upgrading Exhaust On An '84 C10 - Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys,

My friend bought a Pypes exhaust kit for his '84 c10. We are going to remove the cat's and O2 sensors seeing how he doesn't need to have emissions done anymore.

I was wondering what exactly has to be done with the O2 sensors?

Ive done exhausts on older cars but never anything newer that had O2 sensors.

Drill a hole in the appropriate location, weld in an O2 bung.
