I run 4" lift with 35s and,yeah,I like the look better down as close as possible to the tires...not lanky. That said,it is recommended to run a 6" lift with 35s,so it won't look like small tires at all. It's a proper combination. In fact,with 4" lift and 35s you have to watch flexing...at least with 10" wheels you do.
My old '84 truck I had years ago and my '91 Suburban I had until more recently. 4" lift,12.50/35s,and 10 wheels:

my 86 chev with 4 inch lift and 31s ...... i want 35s but idk if thatd be too big and if i should go with 34s tell me what you think of my truck and my tire question?

I was thinkin about it / I threw a set of 33s on it from a buddy and they don't look big enough I want it to sit abit higher too , eventually I'm going for a 6 or 8inch lift but won't be for a year or 2

Rough country 6. and ORD 1" body lift. bushwacker cutouts
39.5" super swampers.. I'm still building it.
