Stocktonwheel.com could probably fix the bad one. Just an idea.

Re: time to play "Name that rim"

what is your year truck? disk or drum or both?
Almost anything you want will pop on the for sale section in short time. If can't wait and can't find a junkyard deal, I highly recommend Josh at http://www.originalwheels.com/chevro...els/trucks.php
Note this is just the wheel section, they also have very nice original hubcaps (and can restore 73+ to look like 72 and earlier).

EDIT: Gus is also very helpful at original wheels.com. I think Gus is wheels and Josh is caps... or vice versa.

Do you have a junk yard in your area. I can't believe it's come to people having to buy stock wheels from Stockton. Post a WTB on Craiglist. Many got tossed but with billions made there still should be some laying around.

Re: time to play "Name that rim"

Wish I knew where to find a junkyard. Probably within an hour or so. I will check the for sale area here as well. We have almost finished the brakes and are trying to get her on her feet and able to move again. The current wheels will work til we find something, so no rush.

Re: time to play "Name that rim"

Just think of how many spare tire/wheels came in trucks and vans with 5 on 5 pattern. Even if they had rallyes or alloy wheels they would still have the standard wheel. Go ask at a tire store wheel you can find a used wheel.

Re: time to play "Name that rim"

...but just be sure to measure the backspacing. 90's Caprices, Park Avenues, etc. used these same 5x5 wheel but their backspacing won't work on our trucks. Ask me how I know.

Re: time to play "Name that rim"

sorry to sound so ignorant, but I guess I am
Would 6 lug with a "center cap" fit over the front spindle/hub? something like these?
