5 on 5 to 4.75 conversion??

guys , ive just tried one of my new camaro rims on my 70 stepside (which ive ony owned a month) and they fit? I had this truck brought to australia from arizona and im still discovering things about it.It does have 5 stud multi fit rims on it now. It has drop spindles and discs on front as well which have been recently fitted. Ive measured and from edge of stud to center of adjacent stud is 4.75 ,, my question is would these fit on anyways even if im reading wrong? or a camaro rim wont even sit over the studs if its a normal 5on 5 stud pattern?
