Seat cover?

I want to install new bench seat cover. Could somebody tell me what option # 632(olive custom cloth trm) means on the SPID label ? I am sure the cover that is on it is not original. Should it be a houndstooth cover ? Price aside who has the best quality covers?

Re: Seat cover?

no kidding. I agree - the SPID is purdy, how's the rest of the truck? I love green houndstooth seats - one of the best looking ones in my book. Wow, the more I read the SPID (Dark Olive, drool....!!), the more I see you've apparently purchased my dream truck before I found it!

Re: Seat cover?

Thanks for the info and the compliments guys! Learning a lot about these trucks from this site. Very informative site with great people. The truck was built in Fremont Cal. and spent all it's life near Sacramento. I bought it off E-Bay of all places. I thought about gettin my head examined buying something like that without ever seeing it in person. Luckily the guy I bought it form was more than helpful. Tons of pics of anything I asked and answered any questions I had with a lot of time spent on the phone. I definately lucked out. I didn't know much about these trucks at the time as far as options and such. It does have original block,4 speed and t-case. As far as the rest of the truck it is pretty much unmolested. A/C worked when I got it. A few things such as seat cover and some gremlins in the wiring, heater core box packed with leaves is to be expected at 40 Yrs old I guess. I bought it from the 2nd owner who had it for about 18 months before I got it last fall. He just had motor rebuilt @ a speed shop in Cal. before I got it. It has been painted to the code off the glovebox. Oh hell I'll just try to post some pics. Thanks again to all !

Re: Seat cover?

Hey! That's a great looking truck!
My C/20 Custom Camper was from the Sacramento area, too - but I flew out for the day from Connecticut to check it out.
Congrats and you're extremely lucky to get something so nice without looking at it in person. I would've bought a lottery ticket that day!

Nice truck deezilboy, a Cheyenne Super & Custom Camper making this one a very Special K! It deserves a seat like the one pictured below, I also included a picture of the other super bench/bucket colors available. I can do the green/green houndstooth super bench cover for $285. shipped to your door, and these are the top of mark Truck World covers which are the preferred choice by most installers. Mel
