Power steering V.S manual steering

Need your input guys how hard is the steering on a manual rack please be honest. I like my power steering but hate all the crap that comes with it. Let me know if manual steering is really as hard as they say

I would recommend the power unit. The manual rack keeps the engine compartment clean, but parking lots will get old.

Re: Power steering V.S manual steering

If you're moving more than 10 mph, manual steering is fairly easy. But if you are moving around a parking lot or moving from a stop, it can get old after a while. I used to drive my brother's 64 1/2 Mustang quite a bit, and it was manual. Even that small of a car got annoying. Agreed that it looks cleaner, but personally, I think it's worth it for something you may drive on a regular basis.

Power would be the way to go it will be your friend when you are in the parking lot making those tight turns into a space.
