Re: 1972 Cheyenne super barn find

Thanks for all the compliments..

I will try to answer some of the questions..

I gave $1200 for the truck.

It has rust in the rockers and 1 cab corner, the bed floor is rusty, other than that its not bad.

the truck was parked in 1981 with 90k miles on it.

I have a short frame and lots of other parts to make this a pretty cool cheyenne super SWB. I am just not ready at this moment to tackle another ground up project.

You got a very good deal in my opinion. sounds like the barn kept if from rusting in some of the other annoying areas.

I totally understand you not wanting to do a ground up. It's just so time consuming Why don't you let me shoot up to Tulsa and take that old truck off your hands.

Nice find! I would leave it a long-bed though, but i am partial. Good luck with it. Joseph

I think I will hang on to it for a little while.

I am working on several other projects at the moment so this one will have to sit outside until I am ready to mess with it.

I've got a couple of SPID's in my small collection that say Cheyenne Super Spor, they are 1972 from St. Louis.

Gears, That's a great find, nice options.
