info on paint number

guys,on the protect o plate is theiris two #at the top right.is the bottom one my paint code ? it's N9A17.
the other # is VO123UA and its a 69 C10 stepside .

Good try, but no.
The Protect-O-Plate gave warranty pertinent information that was used in the claim process. It was transfered to documents like a credit card of old.
The two numbers quoted are your engine and trans codes.

V(Flint engine plant) O1(January) 23(23 date) UA(307, M/T,200hp,2bbl. carb.)
N(Muncie 4spd) 9(1969) A(January) 17(17 date)

The only place you would find paint info in on the Glovebox SPID label. If you are not sure of the original color dig around for areas that would be really had to hit with a spay gun.
