Question My 235 six is smoking out the tailpipe, sugestions?

MY 61 WITH A 235 SIX IS SMOKING OUT THE TAILPIPE. I KNOW IT IS FROM OIL BUT MY COMPRESSION IS AROUND 150LBS IN ALL CYLINDERS. I KNOW THAT IT COULD BE THE VALVE SEALS BEING THAT THE TRUCK SAT FOR A LONG TIME AND THE SMOKING IS GETTING WORSE THE MORE I DRIVE IT. I WAS WONDERING IF IT COULD BE SOMETHING ELSE CAUSING THIS. IF IT IS THE VALVE SEALS HOW MUCH OF A PAIN IS IT TO CHANGE THEM AND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT IT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

You can make a air adapter out of a spark plug, keep air in the cylinder you are working on and remove each valve spring and replace the seals, the air keeps the valves against seats while changing the seals.

if you dont have access to an air compressor you can remove the spark plug and push a piece of 1/4 inch rope into the cylinder and let it kind of pile up on top of the piston then rotate the engine by hand until the rope contacts the valves now remove the locks, retainers and springs on that cylinder
