i'm wanting to go look at a 69 for sale tomorrow, but it's 4 hours away. I don't own a trailer so i'd be driving it home. Is this crazy?

do any of ya'll know this truck? he's asking $5200 has a 305/400 turbo. let me know what ya'll think

If it was me, I would see if there is a boardmember in the area that can look at it for you just so you don't waste an 8+ hour trip on a well-polished turd. Not saying that truck is a turd, but there certainly are trucks out there that photograph well.
If you want the trip anyway, go for it. Otherwise find someone close to give it a once-over before you take the time.

yeah i was thinking that too i had a recent 1 hour drive to look at a well photod turd.
i am honestly nervous about asking someone else to look at it because i am afraid they might buy it if it really is a good deal.

The chances of them buying it are slim to none. First of all you would have to find someone in the market for a truck just like what you are looking for, then they would have to be very close to where that particular truck is, and they would have to be willing to pull a risking move like buying that truck our from under you. Is it possible? Yes! Likely? No!

Make a thread that you are looking for someone in the area of this truck to go look at it for you. Then PM them the info on the truck. Then you have only let one person know where it is.
