'72 1/2ton body on a '89 3/4ton frame/engine/tranny.....

I am going to be coming into ownership of an '89 3/4ton that runs/drives perfectly w/very low milage. I'm not much on the '89 body style and was wondering if I might be able to swap the sheetmetal over with minimal issues. Is this possible w/out a lot of problems? I was wondering if any of you guys have done something like this or know of anyone else having done it. Not sure of what kind of issues might arise.

Any help?

Thanks,
Greg

I have never done it, but I have heard on here it will require moving mounts and doing a body lift.

Hopefully some one else will chime in.
