Junkyard Trip

Well today me and my dad took a trip to our "local" junkyards. Our first stop was at LKQ. We had to pay a $2 fee per person to go in and roam their yard. To my surprise they were a little low on the truck side with a total of 8 trucks in the whole yard. But one of the trucks was a 73-80 Chevy crew cab dually that could not have been from Indiana because it had a perfect body on it, not one spot of rust at all. The truck looked like at one time someone was putting money into it because it had 1 or 2 inch cowl induction hood on it. Their yard was not that great and we got a stamp on our hand that let us back in all day long. Next we headed up the street a little bit and stopped at Indiana salvage. All we had to do was sign our name on a sign in sheet and head into the yard. When we stepped out into it at first it didn't look very impressive at all. But we walked a little cut the corner and seen the massive yard that they had. It was huge, it ran along the whole backside of a neighborhood and was about half as wide. We didn't really look around here because it was cold today and this place was massive, but I had spotted at least 3 73-87 Chevy or GMC trucks. I hope to go back soon and have a little more fun, and maybe get some pictures.
