what would you guys do?

I'm doing a build and was curious what you guys would do. I'm going to have all my brackets, hinges and stuff under powder coated or painted glossy black, so its not going to be original under there. All new paint in the motor compartment area. Am trying to decide what to do with the heater box, I have these 2, the one is in real good shape. I could put it on or paint the other gloss black, what do you guys think? Thanks for your input, Randy

I'd paint it or gel coat it gloss black too.

Re: what would you guys do?

Randy depending on what you are after, I like the factory finish on these. Gloss Black would look good, but the housing should sanded/smoothed IMO.

Re: what would you guys do?

I prefer to scrub them up real good and spray with a clear gloss.

Re: what would you guys do?

I'd leave it with factory finish. I'm surprised nobody has suggested satin or semi-gloss black??

Re: what would you guys do?

THANKS for all your input, I'm leaning torwards leaving it the like the first one, its finish is better than the 2nd one. Thanks again, Randy
