Got me a little square body fever.

So I have been cruizing Craigslist, truck paper, auto trader and about every other resource I can find, I am chomping at the bit to get another square body dually.

I have several I am looking at, having a hard time making up my mind as to what I want if I am going to go with a regular cab and put a sleeper on it like The rigs Toby Tuttle has or has had.

Or if I am going to go back to a crew cab.

Either way I know I want to wind up with a 4x4, with all the Silverado goodies. And I want to stuff my Cummins 12 valve in it with an Allison 1000.

I have a couple of ideas floating around in my head, one is also getting a 91-2003 3500HD and stretching the frame to accept the crew cab-cab, then putting F-450 axles under it along with air ride suspension, although that is a bit of a long term goal, or I may just build a new frame from box tube. Or I can always box the stock frame.

Lots of choices, just not sure what I am going to do yet.

One thing is for sure though, I have square body fever bad!

Here is another truck I am looking at.

It is a 90 with a 4 speed, so it will have the high floor hump, I don't think that one is removable though.

Either way though, still haven't made up my mind, I figure all of you guys would like to chime in on this one though.

Re: Got me a little square body fever.

Those sleepers look cool if you like the retro vibe, but I would go with a CC and have the extra room.

Re: Got me a little square body fever.

I am not sure what route I am going to go yet.

I see so many advantages to doing both, it is hard to pick one.

I will probably wind up with the crew cab though because my dog can ride back there a lot easier than in the sleeper setup.

I don't really care for how the sleepers look on a crew cab, they make the back look too short. I think id much rather have a B&W turnover ball in the bed and a Topper I could put on it to keep the back dry and clean when I want to haul stuff back there.

Seeing as how I am currently in school for computers that may come in handy. We will see, found more trucks today, Still have not made up my mind, I have about 2 weeks until I get paid to look before I actually decide on anything. I definitely want my next truck to be black though.
