Cab swap

I just found a 63 BBW cab with windows. My questions is will this cab mount on my 62 frame without major fab work?

Re: Cab swap

depends on what you consider major. The cab mounts are in different locations as the frames are different widths. but I wouldn't call this major, you can either fab up new mounts on your frame to match the new cab, or move the mount points in the floor of the cab to match your frame.

Re: Cab swap

not to hard, rear mounts mount to the same spot, will just have to drill new holes for the front mounts in the cab.

pic shows a 63 frame with bolt coming through a 60-62 mount (reverse of what you are doing)
the 63 cab front brace will be the same as the one in the pic, and still has the divot where the mount pad for the 60-62 frame mounted up.
