67 e-brake with np205 - routing issue

Due to the different location of the output shaft on a 205 vs. a 221 my e-brake cable rests right on top of the TC case output shaft. What have you guys that swapped out the T221 with a NP205 done for you e-brake cable routing?

standard e-brake from drums, the cab handle cable exits the frame on top of the TC support.

I was giving you a solution. Personally, I don't use an e-brake at all. No need for one.

Here is my 68 with an NP205. I got new cables made at Inline Tube.

Re: 67 e-brake with np205 - routing issue

Thank you very much! My first observation is that the brake handle cable in the pics reaches way past the TC ujoint. My stock 67 isnt close to being that long. Is the cable from under the dash to the intermidiate cable one you had made from Inline and if so would you have what I would need to order? Secondly the rod on the pass side, I assume that was ordered from Inline as well? Is again much longer then mine.
Thank you again for taking the time to send these pics,
Don

Yes, the cable from under the dash is longer. It was custom made by Inline Tube. I sent mine and gave them the required length. The wire cable that runs to the rear axle emergency brakes was also made by Inline. Give them a call, not cheap, but excellent quality and service. I made the rod on the passenger side.
