New from Indiana
Hi I am looking for help, my 72 chevy k20 4x4 fuel gauge stopped working.
I replaced the sending unit, that did not fix the problem so I replaced the fuel gauge and still it still does not work. I replaced the parts with new ones from LMC truck. My Dad bought this truck when I was 19 I am now 51 so it has been in the family a while. Thanks for any help. Larry |

Hey Larry, welcome aboard from Central Florida! Sounds like maybe electrical, you might try posting in the Electrical section. I am a electrical moron myself.

Re: New from Indiana
Does it stay pegged at full? Possibly a bad ground, may want to check them.

Re: New from Indiana
Can't offer any assistance with your fuel gauge issue, but I welcome you to the forum. I have only been here a few weeks, but have everyone here to be very helpful, good luck. May I suggest that you post a thread in your 67-72 forum, make the title "looking for some hep with my fuel gauge", detail the issue there, I am sure that someone who has dealt with the same issue will be pleased to help out.
Regards, Craiger |
