Most Common Bed Length

I have often wondered what the most common bed length on this forum is. Now we will know.

Select as many as you have (i.e.if you have 4 longbeds, select longbed 4 times).

you could vote twice!

Interesting results thus far - I'd have expected longbeds to run away with it. I don't feel so "spatial" anymore

Re: Most Common Bed Length

The results should show there are more long beds,if everyone votes. Because the fact is,there are more longbeds out there. This site, and the current trend in general, does certainly seem to bee short bed oriented. I've had a lot of these trucks and enjoy them for each of their intended purposes. The K/20 has been my main squeeze because that's what suits my overall needs the most. Short beds are cool,so I usually have one of those to play with. My ideal pair is a K/20 and a C/10 SWB and that's what my fleet is finally reduced to...except for the SWB C/30 wrecker, which has a longer WB than a long bed and a shorter bed. I guess I have one of all three WB in the poll. I don't see an option for 157" trucks. The short C/30 cab & chassis are the 133" like an 8'6" Longbed or a 9' Stepside, but have various length beds (bodies). Ste standard flatbed length is 10' and a utility body is 11'.

Ha, some folks have it rough!! That is definitely an ideal trio you have there special k. I think I misinterpreted the results of the poll as you pointed out - I just saw the big line next to the first swb vote. As I look back i don't think I'm getting something in the poll - see swb listed a whole bunch of times with no apparent differences as well as the same for lwb.

Either way, I agree, they're all cool, and having your own wrecker is gouge!!

Re: Most Common Bed Length

So far,it does show more shorties. A poll on this site could prove more shorties than longies. Bit,if you could poll every 67-72 truck on the road there will certainly be more longbeds. Only 10s could have shortbeds and most had longbeds. Consider 20-30s and how few K/10s had shortbeds and there were way more longbutts.

Re: Most Common Bed Length

I wonder if you see more shorties about too because I would suspect the long beds would have been used in more work situations therefore fewer of them survived than the short beds. Just a thought.

Polls only let you pick one option once. What if I were to have 3 longbeds and 2 shortbeds? I would select longbed 3 times and shortbed twice.
