I have a rebuilt 1982 Chevy 454 and a Turbo 400 transmission that I need to sell. They both have around 20,000 miles on them. I have right about $2200 or so into them. I'd take $1200 for the pair or offer.
These are still in the truck and you can hear it run.

This is going on ebay Monday. All the hanging on stuff goes with the engine (alt, starter, carb). There is also a set of headers that I will include.

One other thing, the starter was replaced last summer, the alt was replaced the summer before that.

Mike,thanx for the offer but i will have to pass. I just made a trip to get the 67 and cant swing time off of work to make another trip for awhile.Do you have the reciepts for the overhaul?You know it can be nervous buying an engine without being able to hear it.......lol

Is it complete with brackets,heat stove,air cleaner etc?

Mostly complete. If you mean the heat stove by that part going from the air cleaner to the exhaust manifold, then that is missing. I have a set of headers on the truck now. I think I have the original exhaust manifolds around yet. One of them might have been cracked though.
The engine is in the truck and runs. I still drive the truck about once every two weeks or so just to keep things going.

I'm trying to attach a pic of the engine. The aluminum valve covers do not go with the engine. I'll put the original valve covers back on. (I'm doing that today if I can find them.) If I get this posted on ebay on Monday, I'll have the air cleaner painted black too.
