Radiator Wanted

I'm looking for a new radiator for our 1972 truck. The problem is I can't find any that are good quality. Any thoughts from anyone?

Otherwise, I may have this one recored. Any suggestions on a good radiator shop in Kansas City, MO or area?

Re: Radiator Wanted

Good original copper/brass style radiators, like the old Modines with the correct tanks, , are hard to find. Recoring gives best results for a new original radiator.

Re: Radiator Wanted

I found one by Visa Pro and by Spectra Premium. Not sure how good they are. Has anyone had either of these?

Re: Radiator Wanted

Mike, You can try Orr Radiator in KCMO. Orr I have a very good used aftermarket with about 3,000 miles of use for $50. It was in my truck before the start of a restoration.

72ironmike and teeitup, do you have pictures? I have two trucks and may be interested in both. Do you know the brand? 3 or 4 row?

Re: Radiator Wanted

I bought this one on line. It is a 3 row but they sell 4 row also. It is $50 cheaper without the fans. http://www.reliableradiator.com/serv...Truck-3/Detail
