t5 swap bell housing
Last year I put a t5 in my truck with original 6cyl and cast bell housing and adaptor plate. I recently swapped the 6cyl with a 90 TPI L98. I used the original starter that bolts into bell housing but had to change flywheel becausefr of the newer crank and now have a noise from the starter like it needs to be shimmed. Do they make shims for this style starter? I wouldn't mind changing to a newer style bell housing to use a newer lighter starter but I'm not sure what to use. Will a newer 3/4 speed bell housing work fine?
