th400 trans module vacume help

My 85 k20 has a 400 new trans. Where is the best place to hook up the vacume line for the module right now i have a metal line going from module to intake area than it goes into a rubber line which goes into intake it leaks some is there a better way to run the vacume thanks

Why is that such a problem? fix the leak. The trans needs constant manifold vacuum

Replace the rubber portion of the line into the stock location. Make sure it is the right size and you should be good to go. kwmech may not have intended to give you a smart ass answer. It may just be he is trying to say that you don't have to reinvent the wheel with this situation.
