My test tires on H2 rims. What do you think?

I just installed some used tires (285/70-17) on used H2 rims to test the fit and clearance. I have been looking for a taller stance out of my truck. These are replacing a set of 275/60-15's (yes... 8-lug 15's). The stance is now about 4" taller. Which look do you like best? I included pictures with both sets of tires.

Re: My test tires on H2 rims. What do you think?

I like those chrome H2's. I have the exact set up caps/tire size on my '00 crew cab. Considering the price you can't beat it. Since it's a GM product it's kinda like having a factory or dealer option - like modern version of rallys.

Re: My test tires on H2 rims. What do you think?

Looks great, but personally I think the 285s look just a bit too big on there (this coming from a guy with 315s on a stock height 1 ton )

I think some 265/70R17s would look perfect and proportional.

Re: My test tires on H2 rims. What do you think?

I like the size.I just don't much care for the late model factory wheel offerings(that's a personal preference thing).Looks better with the bigger size though.

I'm not really sure what tire size I will end up with. I just wanted to put a large tire size on just to try it. This way I won't go any larger, and I know I won't have any clearance problems if I stay with the same size or smaller. I saw some 265/65-17's that looked pretty good. These are just used test tires for clearance fit up. Thanks for the feedback.
