Re: Framr weight

Maybe this will help...

1970 Chevrolet C10

Not much had changed on the 1970 Chevrolet Pickups from the previous year. The grill featured the Chevrolet nameplate through the center while the bow tie logo moved to the front and center of the hood. C10 or K10 models could be equipped with either a 115 in with a 6 1/2 ft. cargo box or 127 in wheelbase with a 8 ft. cargo box available in Fleetside or Stepside models. Standard engines included a 155 hp 250 6-cylinder.

Standard Features include:

Full-width bench seat, panoramic rear window, padded dash, heater/defroster, padded sun visors, low-profile control knobs, safety glass, painted front bumper (chrome bumpers were a separate option), 2-speed windshield wipers, windshield defrosters, low profile steering wheel, directional signals and more.

The Custom C10 pickup could be identified by the Custom/10 nomenclature on the front fenders, plus there was metal trim around the windshield, rear window, and vent window.

The CST (Custom Sport Truck) which could be identified by the CST/10 nameplate on the front fender had a custom woodgrain insert and front side marker lamps with chrome trim.

Re: Framr weight

Thanks, cool info! BTW, I think "ttt" on a post after only two hours on the same day you post is somewhat poor form... patience is a virtue! Unless there was some emergency, I suppose. A frame weight emergency...
