Need Seat info... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

howdy,

Have an 84 c/10 that used to be a work truck in Indiana. Apparently whoever was "working" was a man (or woman) of retlative heft, as a result i sit about 4-6 inches lower in the seat than the passenger. It has a bench seat and i'd like to eventually just replace it for a nice set bucket/console setup but for the time being, will a seat from an 88-9? pickup bolt in there?
I dont wanna put alot of money into it because i'm still saving up for a nice set of seats. but something better than i have now would be wonderful :-)
