Re: Olive Interior pieces

I'm having trouble being sure of the color on those - are they the original dark green? Here's a color code link:

71 GMC Dark Green

If so, I'm interested in the set.

The Ditzler/PPG codes signify paint colors. Your SPID should signify what color option your interior is/was. This is an Olive interior. Some people get the interior color codes mixed up with interior vinyl colors. This olive should be a match.

Re: Olive Interior pieces

That's good news. I'll take the set, then - even though it means selling the black armrests I just picked up here, the white original armrests, and a nice set of dark tan visors...

Paypal?

Dark tan visors are prob saddle or what people also refer to as brown. I would consider the black armrests but I have a nice set. I am just trying to offload some of my odds and ins I have left over (which is a ton) that I will not be needing for my builds. I would be interested in the white armrests or specifically politically correct "parchment" lol. Too many danf fancy names and colors...

Also for some years when comparing GMC and CHevy models... the paint code will be the same but a Chevy would refer to it as Dark Olive Poly and GMC would reference it as Dark Green Poly. I would assume marketing tactics and salesmanship had something to do with that! It is the same dang color!!!

Re: Olive Interior pieces

Want to just swap the armrests, then? They are the original set, and the truck has been in my family since the mid-70s at least. They've got years of accumulated dirt on them, but in excellent condition otherwise. No blemishes, cracks, or anything that I can see at all. I can clean them up and give you pictures later today.

I've got the visors as well, but I'd have to look at them to know just how good they are - I do remember the reason I swapped them out was due to the pivot getting too solid to want to move. I don't remember any other issues with them, stitching or anything.

I would but I really need cash for all of my parts at the moment. That is why I am bundling all my odds and ends up and trying to get them out of here.
