230?..... and arround how much did it cost you to get it done?, by the way were did you find that 6 HEI ?

I actually built it 15 to 20 years ago, drove it some then parked it. I just put new gaskets on it ( around $45.00 ), rebuilt the carb ( around $20.00 ), new plugs, new fuel tank, new belts and hoses....etc.

HEI was off the nova I got the power steering from about 20 years ago. you can get them off P/U's or cars that had 6 bangers in the 70's and early 80's
I have a few in my collection I have picked up at junk yards. They are getting harder to find but I got 2 this week off of stuff that came in the crusher yard I work at. I pull all the cool stuff before it gets crushed, got both power steering set ups off the vehicles that had the 6 cyl HEI .... added them to the collection also
