pan bar

I have a new differential cover for my 12 bolt rear end. the stock pan bar hits the cover. cpp has a pan bar with an offset. will this pan bar work ? My truck is not lowered. Any other company makes pan bars with an offset ? thanks

CPP is the only one I know of.
I've seen them work in lowered applications.
I don't see why they wouldn't work in a stock application.

Thanks for the info. if the pan bar from cpp does not work then i will be lowering the truck.

We are working on a design right now for that exact purpose. Using a DTS Aluminum T/A Cover as a set-up, we hope to have them available this summer. Once pricing and a definite release date is determined, we will become a vendor on this site. See the attached pic for the cover. Thinking of having two kits, one with, and one without the cover, for those who already have a thicker cover.

I take it that you're looking to keep the factory pan hard mount on the frame and connect it to the factory mount on the differential by using an offset pan hard bar. We don't offer that type of bar but we do offer a solution if you are unable to locate an offset bar that will work.

Here's out adjustable pan hard / track bar kit that we sell. It comes with all the required hardware and brackets to install the system and will surely work with your differentail cover.


The Porterbuilt Fully Adjustable Trac-bar has an overall length of just over 34 inches. The longer the bar, the less side to side shift the differential will experience through suspension travel. The new mounting brackets also relocate the bar lowering the rear roll-center, and the bar length can be tuned while still mounted on the truck!

-Fully adjustable trac-bar
-Trac-bar mounting brackets
-All necessary grade 8 mounting hardware

Here are a few pictures of the track bar installed. The bracket will be slightly different as the kit below has our trailing arms installed, however the kit come with a bolt on mount the works with factory trailing arms.

Correct, we offer the system as a bolt-on kit that replaces the shorter factory bar with our longer bar as pictured.
