Trac-Bar / Panhard bar Torque Specs
I'm torquing my rear suspension to spec and I have an adjustable rear trac-bar like seen from Porterbuilt or No Limit
Does anyone know the correct torque specs for the bolts/studs that go thru the trac bar ends (heim joints) ?? I'm a notorious over tightener and the assembly manual seems high at 135 ft/lbs if I am reading it right. Don't want to bind anything or limit travel |

Re: Trac-Bar / Panhard bar Torque Specs
Typically the torque spec will be directly related to the bolt size and grade. Do you know what size the bolt is, and what grade it is?

Re: Trac-Bar / Panhard bar Torque Specs
Nate - just out of curiosity and completely understanding your information will not apply to my specific application
What would you recommend to someone torquing the bolts holding the trac-bar in your kit to? Just want to see if I am in the ball-park and not way out of line when i cross-reference my diameter later |
