Re: anybody know these mirrors?

I was thinking those were just like mine, but I noticed my base mounts are much bigger. You can still have both if you want them

Re: anybody know these mirrors?

Those look like the 71-72 style tripod mirrors. The 69-70 style had bigger tripods with the legs several inches farther down the door and the bar to the top of the door turned down where the screw attaches. I have some of each and could post pics in a few days. Also, at least on my 69, the attachment point to the mirror head is offset toward one end whereas all the later style I've seen have it centered.

Re: anybody know these mirrors?

I just found a picture (attached) of the originals on my 69. The only thing incorrect is that they have a horizontal 6" extension added that GM used to sell. I put the extensions on so I could see around the camper. As I mentioned in my post above, yours look like the original 71-72 style as long as the short horizontal to the top of the door is round with flattened ends.

I also noticed you asked about attachment hardware. They used hex head sheet metal screws. Later GM vans used vinyl or rubber covered well nuts with machine screw threads and stainless hex head bolts (but not hardware store issue). I think you can still get the bolts and well nuts from GM. Just ask them to look up something like a 1977 or 1978 van.
