my new 67

I've been looking for another 67-68 since I sold my cbr must've looked at ten differnt trucks in the passed six months and finally came up with this.It was listed as a project on cl. I was the first to look at it and could'nt turn it down after I threw the offer out.I'm all about chevys interchangeabilty but the bed has too go I WILL be changing the bed (when I find a decent one.this is the first "project" I was able to drive home

are these wheels n caps correct for a 67?

Re: my new 67

Looks like you have a great project truck. I have to agree on the bed, I've never been one to mix years. Although I have seen those hubcaps on other 67s, I can't say they are factory. The arm rest thing is interesting. I didn't have them on my 64-66s but have them on my 68. I see you have a radio delete plate and a new dome light cover. Cool old truck!

Re: my new 67

paging through the owners manual I came across a pasted over correction(kind like a postit) two paragrphs about the brake warning light and the oil pressure guage or light

looks like this order paper has all the info the spid has
the orignal owner kept gas records in the back of the owners manual up too 2595mi.from 7-7-67 only to 10-13-67
he even wrote down the inspection, wierd it was done 8-11-67 an it cost $4.00 + $2.80 for 4 quarts of oil( records indicate it used five quarts in the first 1k mi. then 3 more by 1545mi.)
Imagine a new truck using 8 quarts the first 1500mi I would be taking it back!

Ive never had a protecto plate for a vehicle before cool
