stiff,bouncing around suspension

Ok i took my 67 longbed on its maiden voyage since i dropped it. In the front I replaced my lca`s with some good stock ones with good bushings and ball joints, did the disk brake conversion and cut 7/8 of a coil off good stock springs. and shocks are stock size monroe sensa-tracs. In the rear i bagged it with Dominators, viair and valves and shock relocators. the bed hasent been put back on yet, thats this weekend.
now the rear i am still finding the right pressure to soften the ride so thats no big deal there. but the front has me bouncing off the seat a little. any suggestions to smooth the ride out?

Did you use drop spindles also?
How close is the rubber snubber on the lower control arm?
You might need to trim those down or replace them with shorter ones.

do you have 6cyl springs or v8 springs up front? When I had 6cyl springs in my v8 truck the ride was horrible, it seemd like my front end was jumping off the ground everytime I hit a bump.

Re: stiff,bouncing around suspension

what type of tires and rims do you have// traditional 15 or 16 rims and tires give good ride quality by air pressure adjustment

the less the sidewall the bigger the rim the less ride quality is what i've found
