LS guys: what are you doing for A/C?
i'm looking at what my options are regarding compressor mounts. i'd initially thought about fabbing up my own, as i've got both a 1988 compressor and the compressor off the 2004. i just thought i'd check around at what y'all are using.
i used the plates that use the old motor mounts. it's on an 88 suburban (2004 5.3) with rear air. everything else on a/c setup is stock. |

I am using the Vintage Air kit, which uses a Sanden compressor. It is on my TBI engine right now, but will be mounted using the Kwik Performance brackets (purchased through VA). Dirty Dingo also has some nice looking A/C brackets as well, if you might be looking into the Sanden compressor.

I'm using the factory mount on the lower right side with an express van compressor

Similar to the regular truck but the compressor is not varible displacement pump I notched my deal a little for the suction lone and used the factory a/c hoses from the express just added my fittings I also flipped my condenser upside down sunset they exited the drivers side now they exit the passenger side bottom only had to notch to core support a little.it gets down to around 46 but kinda warms up at idle I belive its because of the factory condenser I'm going to try a new hi flow up dated one and see if that helps
