NOS 69-72 Console Ashtray
I have an NOS 69-72 console Ashtray GM part #3940479 in the box. These have been discontinued by GM and are very hard to find. I have seen these go for $125.00 here on the board and even more on Ebay. I will take $100.00 shipped for this one.

Ouch.............I had no idea these were that much NOS. I was thinking about buying one from LMC until I remembered that i had the rear seat armrests out of my 77' K5. Wouldn't you know it, I think they are the same ash tray...........It fit like a glove

Yes they are the same. GM used this part # on several different applications and when they discontinued this part # they were scarce nearly overnight. I use to buy them for console restoration at a dozen at a time for 20 bucks each and they went from 20 to 40 bucks it seamed like overnight and I quit using them and now you can hardly find them.
