Front Stabilizer Question

My 71 SWD C10 does not have a front stabilizer bar. From what I can tell, it never had one. Are all of these frames drilled for a stabilizer in the front? I can see the two mounting holes in the lower a-arms. The only holes I see on the frame forward of that point are two holes, one round and the other a long slotted hole. Are these the ones I use for the bar to mount to the frame?
