What I really like is those gauges. Reminds me of an antique radio. I love those gauges.

Re: You guys might want to see this.
I've seen just as nice of trucks here on the site. The engine bay is no better than what I have. For $20K I would expect more under the hood than a standard 6.
Just my opinion.... |

Gauge cluster is from a 1950 PONTIAC SILVER STREAK, I was thinking of useing it in a1938 Chevy sedan.

Re: You guys might want to see this.
That is one sweat truck. I see the reserve is not met at $20K. We all know it costs more to build one that you can buy one finished for. But where's the fun in that

Re: You guys might want to see this.
The truck was built and owned for a number of years By Cole Foster. There are a lot of great details on the truck and as far as I know he drove it quite often for years and it was never a garage queen.
The door push buttons are 40 something Lincoln and are available as reproductions. I'm wondering if he didn't use a second roof to make the headliner in it. |

Re: You guys might want to see this.
How cool is that. Someone sees something they like and within 2 hours there is link to the site showing you exactly how to do it.
Anyone have a link on how to make a million bucks in 2 weeks or less. |

Re: You guys might want to see this.
I have to agree. Nicer builds on this site. Cole Foster builds really cool stuff, but the truck will sell for a bunch because of who currently owns it (couldn't care less, Jesse James....big deal).

Re: You guys might want to see this.
Actually I'd say that the the bucks would come because it was Cole's truck rather than Jesse having it now. The truck is pretty well know out in the traditional hotrod and custom world. The problem with buying one like that is if you make any changes to it someone somewhere will be whining and moaning about it for the next ten years.

Of course if one were to buy it the big stuff is done ! The little stuff can be tailored to your liking . $ 20,000 is a good deal for a finished truck ! He probably has $ 30 to $ 50k in it or more. |

Re: You guys might want to see this.
I had the privilege of driving the truck years ago when it was still Coles it drove great I can also vouch for it being his daily driver and it usually was parked outside in the elements. I'm still trying to build a chopped truck so I can steal Coles idea of the inner roof.
