vin does not match the model code
my vin says it is a 71 but the model code i think that is says it is a 70 it hade a 71 gril on it and the mirror was bolted to the roof so what is it
The first model code it CE 20934 and thats it same with my other truck why does it not have all the other info that the vin decoder is saying in should have also is there a place that you can find out what the biuld sheet had on it nither of my trucks have had them in the truck Thanks

Model codes dont tell you the year... only what model the truck is.
CE 20934 Model codes break down different that vin codes. C = conventional cab E = eight cylinder 2 = 3/4 ton 09 = cab to axle dimension of 54 inches 34 = fleet side box the 09 would be a 59 if it was a GMC.... and I dont any real reason why they did it that way to still indicate a 54 inch cab to axle dimension.
