Re: New body and paint!!!!
When I read "new body" I knew something was up. Jason don't deal with no new stuff. Every time I see one of those RCs I think to myself I should get one, then I forget. Some day...
Have fun and don't scratch that paint!

Re: New body and paint!!!!
Looks good. I wish I could find a 63 GMC body for one of my touring cars.

Re: New body and paint!!!!
LOL
I've had a body for about 2 years. Yesterday I decided to start on it, and was happy with my progress. I came down here to post pics of the progress, and low and behold, you have the exact same truck! Your Revo is in much better condition though, mines beat pretty bad. Very nice job! Any tips on the stickers, I have never played with them before. |

Re: New body and paint!!!!
My revo is pretty new so I have not had a chance to beat it up yet. The stickers were not bad, just make sure your hands and the surface are clean/oil free. I made the upper and lower molding stickere out of some silver tape and some woodgrain tape.
One tip I can give you is to mask off very good. I painted the grill/bumper first and just a touch of over spray got through on to areas of the body and when I painted the red the silver really showed up on a couple areas......Jason Be sure to put on a good coat of white or clear the very last thing to keep the paint from scratching so easy. Then take off the clear protective plastic.
