You mean djm?

Make sure you figure out wether or not you will have wheel clearance issues or not. Most 15s will not fit and some 16s are back spacing sensitive

DOUBLE TO THIS

i have a truck in the garage litterally sitting on the inside of 15" ralleys. so either you grind or upgrade.

Re: drop spindles

I had 3" drop spindle on my old C10, and ran a 15" wheel, but yes, backspace does have to be right. Too much, and they will hit. IIRC, I have 8's with a 4.5" backspace, but I am not for certain. It was a long time ago...

Let me know if I can help you out with the spindles, as we sell BellTech.

Re: drop spindles

I have a set of DJM 3 inch drop spindles. With the factory rally wheels there is about a millionth of an inch of clearance and it is best to grind just a tiny bit off of the caliper mounting arm (upper one I believe). Works just fine then. I hate grinding metal off of suspension parts though. Works great with anything better than 15s

Try this site. I got the 3-5 kit from them which ended up being a 4-5 because it also came with 1" drop springs. The spindles are 194.95 plus shipping. I had to do a little grinding with the stock 15x8 rallys but it wasn't much. Really nice quality.

Re: drop spindles

3" drops require grinding on the caliper and my weights rub on the lower control arm on a full turn. Looks cool though..lol

Re: drop spindles

I have 3" drop spindles (Bell Tech) and 6.5" truck rallyes. After I trimmed and boxed the lower control arm they still rub. From my research 7" truck rallyes or a wheel with 3.5" back space will not rub on the control arm.

Re: drop spindles

IF you run a wheel that has a backspace of 3.25" or less, then there is no worry about the rubbing. I did that for several years until I stepped up on rim size. I have not had any issue with my rims rubbing with my 3" drop spindles and I also included a 1" drop front spring that I placed with a thin spacer to actually gett 3.5" drop. You can also go to a large diameter rim and use a 17" or 18" rim for the spacing.

Re: drop spindles

The best solution is to run wheels larger than 15's...
